Clearing the Cache = The Quiet Math of Subtraction
There are moments when you don’t make an announcement. You don’t argue. You don’t explain.
You just… clear the cache and quietly subtract.
Because when the system starts to lag, you don’t blame the browser, you clear the cache.
It could be an energy or person that no longer fits your present clarity but somehow you kept ‘dealing with it’ for no apparent reason or benefit. Or it could be just a certain tone, a loop, a stale script that no longer deserves your attention. This could be going for a short while or in-play for a lot longer. Yet, it needs to be dealt with.
Subtraction isn’t always about loss.
Sometimes, it’s the boldest kind of addition.
Today, I practiced it, not with noise, but with knowing. No dramatic exits. Just a silent decision and deletion: I’m done carrying this.
I reflected on this idea in one of my earlier posts as well, The Art of Letting Go. You can’t add more to life without subtracting what no longer serves you. And that thought helped me tremendously putting this into practice today.
So, adios. Feeling lighter already. Moving on!
