May Reflections: From Digital Declutter to Deep Connections

2–3 minutes

What a month it’s been!

If May were a mood board, it’d be a blend of ctrl-alt-delete keys, tornado sirens, heartfelt memories, and long-distance hugs.

Each blog this month carried a common thread: making space—physically, emotionally, digitally—for what truly matters.

Here’s a quick rewind of what bloomed on this month:

1. Digital Spring Cleaning: Control + Alt + Evolve
Started the month by tackling digital overwhelm. This piece was a call to declutter not just our desktops but also outdated beliefs and behaviors. Because sometimes, Ctrl + Alt + Delete isn’t enough—we need to Evolve.

2. 24×7 to 2047
From urgent to enduring. This one was about switching gears from short-term hustle to long-term vision. A reminder that future-you is built by the choices of present-you.

3. When the Sky Turns Without Warning
Inspired by real-life tornadoes in St. Louis, I explored how storms—literal and emotional—call for presence, pause, and people. Sometimes, checking-in is more powerful than charging-ahead.

4. Where in the World Are You Reading From?
This interactive post turned into a beautiful reminder of the global village we’re part of. Also, how little gestures (like saying hello) create meaningful ripples.

5. This is My Why
Part reflection, part rally cry. I shared the deeper purpose behind mPath Services and why I believe empathy with action is not just a feel-good mantra—but a practical business philosophy.

6. She Didn’t Need a Résumé to Leave an Impact
On what would’ve been my mom’s birthday, I honored the life lessons she left behind. She never needed job titles—her legacy was how she made people feel. That’s leadership too.

7. Can I borrow this?
A gentle reminder from one fellow creator navigating the wild world of content ownership to another. Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, plagiarism is just… well, lazy and unethical.

8. My ‘Deer’ – Please don’t do this!
gardening story turned into a leadership story. Because sometimes leadership looks like wire mesh, zip ties, and a little duct tape determination.

The Thread That Ties It Together

Each of these posts—different in tone and topic—was rooted in the same soil: living and working with intention.

As I build mPath Services, I’m reminded daily that personal clarity drives professional success. From decluttering our digital lives to redefining our long-term goals, everything is connected. Coaching, content, conversations all begin with knowing our why, setting clear boundaries, and leading with heart.

Your Turn

  • What clutter—digital or emotional—are you ready to let go of?
  • Who’s someone that impacted your life without needing a spotlight?
  • Have you paused lately to check in—with yourself and others?

Reflect. Reboot. Realign. That’s what May was for me. How about you?

  2. your May blog kind of reminded me of a movie with few different Stories that have no connection to each other but At the end of it they seem to tie to together and we see it as a piece of creation . Nice flow to every blog

    1. Neena, what a beautiful way to describe it — I absolutely love the movie analogy!

Life is like that sometimes, right?

Different scenes, moods, and lessons… until suddenly, it all makes sense in retrospect.

Thank you for noticing the threads and the flow — that means a lot, especially coming from someone as reflective and articulate as you. 💛
