Perspective is a paintbrush β use it to color your world wisely.

A rainy day can be gloomy or cozy. A detour can be annoying or adventurous. A change in career can be terrifying or exhilarating.
What changed? Not the circumstances. Just the way we looked at them.
Life in Filter Mode
Isnβt it wild how two people can experience the same moment and walk away with completely different stories? Iβve seen it happen in team meetings, family trips, even quiet moments of reflection. For the longest time, I didnβt realize how much power I had in choosing the lens.
The Power of Reframing
Iβm learning that I canβt always change the situationβbut I can choose how I view it. When I approach a tough moment with curiosity instead of judgment, something shifts. The picture softens. The colors brighten.
Lately, I’ve been repainting my own storyβchoosing to see growth where I once saw loss, choosing to honor uncertainty instead of fear it. Itβs powerful to know that we hold the brush. Itβs humbling to realize weβve always had it.
Your Turn
Pick one story youβve been telling yourself in grayscaleβthen try repainting it. Even small changes in perspective can change the whole view.
This post is part of my April Writing Challenge, where Iβm sharing short reflections tied to motivational quotes, life lessons, and small moments that shaped me. π¬ You can read the intro post here.
